Oh man did I have one hell of a week but the icing on the cake was Friday morning. Let me just start at the beginning.
- First of all, there were 4 late nights in row so the beginning of the week was already super exhausting. Was up til almost 4 am playing poker at my brothers Friday (Feb 12) night, went downtown Saturday night for Amanda's birthday, went to Gruene Hall for a Bob Schneider concert for Valentines day and then had volleyball Monday night.
- Monday night, our dogs slept with us and we leave the bedroom door open. BIG MISTAKE. Colt decides to get out of bed at about 12:45 am and have a hay day in the living room. Coffee knocked over onto the carpet (no, I should not have left my half full coffee cup out), pistachio seeds everywhere, shredded up papers, a water bottle punctured and spilled everywhere, even on the IRA papers I was filling out to send in. Good thing I didn't leave my study materials in there for him to tear up as well.
- I start having nightmares about the dance troop I hired for my wedding reception cancelling on me and having no entertainment so I start frantically emailing them everyday to make sure my date is still booked.
- Wednesday, Colt decides to pull our 30 lb outdoor fountain around the yard.
- Friday morning when Brandon was leaving for work, he noticed I have a flat tire. UGH!!! So we spend the next 30 minutes changing it. When we go back inside, Colt has completely ransacked our house. He stood on his hind legs and knocked over a glass of ice water. He pulled on the bamboo place mat on my kitchen table knocking over one of my asian dish sets and shattering the rice bowl, stuff was ALL OVER the living room including a shredded book cover. The nightstand in the bedroom was completely empty b/c he knocked everything off and even left scratch marks. The stuff on the master bathroom counter had been knocked into one of the sinks with the exception of the tissues, which made it to the floor for some doggy shredding! OH MAN! By the time we had gotten back in the house, I had about 15 minutes to get ready for work so I ended up looking like crap all day.
