So much going on and yet I just want to keep adding more. I will never recommend to anyone to plan a wedding and try to accomplish something major at the same time (CPA exam studying and wedding planning together is a recipe for stress…mostly the studying part). And now that I see a definite light at the end of the tunnel, I’m trying to find more things to do to fill up my time. My upcoming events are:
- Feb 27 – REG section of the CPA exam at noon and margaritas immediately after.
- Feb 28 – Girls day in Fredericksburg and surround hill country for some wine tasting
- March 7 – Dodgeball tournament
- March 11 – Happy Hour at Max’s Wine Dive with my Reception photographer to talk about my album, event, and bridals
- April 10 – Dress Fitting
- April 24 – Bridal Shower in Kansas
- May 22 – Bachelorette Party
- Lingerie Shower – Date TBD in May
- Bridals – Date TBD in May
- June 12-20 – Dominican Republic for Wedding/Honeymoon
- June 26 – Wedding Reception
As if these aren’t enough to focus on for the time being, I really want to start painting different room in the house and remodel some of our walls. I also want to start training for a triathalon but not sure where to start. The most I have ever done is a 10k with obstacles and that was fun but I need something more challenging. I’m a little hesitant to start though because if, God forbid, I don’t pass this exam on Saturday, I will need to divert my efforts from training back to studying. I also want to start playing sports again. I haven’t played softball since like July/August 2009 and I’m kinda missing it.
At least with all that is currently going on, time is going to fly and this wedding will come sooner that it seems. I can’t believe I will be married in less than 4 months!

I highly recommend you talk to David about the triathlons. I'm pretty sure he's done almost all of them in the Austin area. I know a good one to start with is the Rookie Tri. It's at the Texas Ski Ranch down 35. There's also a women's only tri called the Skeese Greets. Check them out on the Jack and Adams website....
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot on your plate, but I'm sure you'll figure it all out. You've always been a busy girl :) Love ya!
