Why Does Everyone Blame the Married Folks?
- Spontaneous happy hours
- Girls Night Out
- Meeting up with friends for whatever reason, be it dinner, downtown, etc.
- House parties
- Bar hopping
All people change. As people go from a committed life to a single life, their lifestyle changes. As does when one goes from a single life to a committed life, things change. Many singles expect us married or commited friends to keep on doing things THEY want to do in order to spend time with them but this has to go both ways. If I'm expected to do "single" activities to see some of my friends, I don't think it hurts for my single friends to do things that us "settled" down people like to do. It goes both ways and since life is ever changing, this is one of those things that we ALL have to adjust to, not just the married people. Friendships should always go both ways no matter what the circumstance is.
Just an observation I have made recently :)
